This will make sure you maximize the space you have. Put the things you use most often toward the front and the top, which will ensure they’re easily within reach.

Some things just don’t belong in boxes. Hanging clothes can be stored in garment bags and racks to keep them safe and wrinkle-free. If you’re moving old furniture to the garage, be sure to fill up any drawers or cabinets. Turn couches on their ends, and hang bicycles from the ceiling.
