Today is the kickoff of the Prudential Midwest, REALTORS 1st Annual Holiday Food Drive for our local Salvation Army (running through Friday December 18th). Non-perishable items can be dropped off to 26 S. Galena Avenue in Freeport (the old chamber building, now Prudential Midwest, REALTORS).
Let's make this HUGE and show our community how much the citizens of Freeport really do care. Let's not forget that right now, unemployment rates in Freeport are over 14%, and having a job or career has become more of a luxury than a right, this year. That means 86% of us should be donating something.
ITEM NEEDED:
* canned meat
* pasta
* cereal
* canned fruit
* canned vegetables
Our office is open daily from 9am-2pm.
